IOT BASED SMART FARMING

Hello everyone, Indian farmers are the backbones of our nation's economy as Indian economy is primarily Agriculture based country. In todays world everything is "smart" and the population is day by day increasing so demand of production is also increasing. the rising population needs increased agriculture production. Hence "IOT BASED SMART FARMING" is needed.

Internet  of  Things  (IoT)  technology  has  brought  revolution  to  each  and  every  field  of common  man’s  life  by  making  every thing  smart  and  intelligent.  IoT  refers  to  a  network  of  things  which make  a  self configuring  network.  The  development  of  Intelligent  Smart  Farming  IoT  based  devices  is  day by  day  turning  the  face  of  agriculture  production  by  not  only  enhancing  it  but  also making  it  cost effective and  reducing  wastage.

Smart Agriculture IOT stick

 

Smart  Farming  Based  Agriculture  IoT  Stick  is regarded as  IoT  gadget  focusing  on  Live  Monitoring of  Environmental data  in  terms  of  Temperature, Moisture  and  other  types depending  on  the  sensors integrated  with  it.

Soil Health

 Farmers can monitor soil quality from surface
to roots , compare areas ,modulate fertilizing 
analyze historical pattern and better manage crop long term. We can use Soil  Moisture  Sensor for  measuring  the moisture  in  soil  and  similar  materials .The  moisture  level  of  the  soil  is  detected  by this  sensor. 

 

 

 

Environment monitoring

environmental control systems often utilize sensors, data loggers, and automation technologies to monitor and regulate these environmental factors. This allows for precise control and adjustments based on real-time conditions and desired targets. The integration of advanced technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices and data analytics, can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental control systems. so, Farmers can accurately record  weather conditions, set flood risk alarms and other alerts in changes of water quality or temperature. 

 Irrigation control

Smart Irrigation Control: Smart irrigation systems leverage IoT (Internet of Things) technology to connect sensors, controllers, and irrigation equipment. These systems can be remotely monitored and controlled via smartphone applications or web interfaces. They provide real-time data, analysis, and automated adjustments for efficient water management. so, Farmers can now schedule and apply the right amount of water to crops, reducing waste and cost.

Solar panel

  

Solar panels work by utilizing the photovoltaic effect. When sunlight strikes the surface of the solar panel, it excites electrons in the semiconductor material, usually made of silicon. This creates a flow of electricity, generating a direct current . An inverter is then used to convert the DC electricity into alternating current , which is the standard form of electricity used in homes and businesses. Solar system with modern systems can provide the energy needed . Energy storage systems can be provided to continue uninterruptedly during night hours or when the amount of light is not sufficient.

"X" factor of project

• There have been many deaths of farmers due to several reasons like electric shocks, thunder strikes, snake bites, etc which can be very well avoided. 
• The main aim of this idea is to provide safety by providing alerts and emergency services to the farmers and seniors citizen who are not in  working  areas.
• Every object is connected with each other through unique identifier so that data can be transferred without human to human interaction.
• We are used a natural source of energy that is solar energy.
